On the first day of the trip we will be waiting for you at 10:00 a.m. at the Bilbao – Concordia station . We will board the train, and we will introduce the crew who will assist you during the journey. Next, we will assign you your room, so you can arrange your belongings and have a first look at the comfortable cabin that will be your accommodation. Next we will begin a panoramic tour of Bilbao and you will have the opportunity to visit the Guggenheim Museum . We will return to the train to enjoy an exquisite meal on board while we taxi towards Santander. In the afternoon you will visit the city of Santander and you will also have free time to walk around the city. We will have dinner at a prestigious restaurant in Santander , and those who wish can optionally visit the Casino del Sardinero . We will return to the train to spend the night and regain strength for the next day.

On the morning of the second day of the tour on the Costa Verde Express , we will begin by having breakfast in the restaurant car of our luxurious train, while we enjoy the journey to the town of Cabezón de la Sal . There the bus will be waiting for us that will take us to the medieval town of Santillana del Mar, to visit the neo-cave of Altamira , an essential enclave to learn about prehistory and our ancestors. After tasting an appetizing meal in Santillana del Mar, we will return to the train to enter Asturian territory, arriving at the town of Llanes , where we will take a walk through this privileged town in Asturias and get to know its most attractive places. Then the bus will take us to the station where the train is stopped. We will enjoy dinner on board and spend the night in Llanes.

After breakfast we will begin a coach trip with the first stop of the day in Cangas de Onís. We will continue crossing the heart of the Picos de Europa to visit two very special places: the Sanctuary of Covadonga, which houses the Virgin of Covadonga or the “Santina” , as the Asturians popularly nickname it, and Lake Enol, going up to the Lakes of Covadonga . Later we will return to the train and continue our journey to Oviedo , while we will be served an exquisite lunch on board . Once in Oviedo , we will visit the capital of the Principality of Asturias, walking through emblematic places in  its medieval old town, where its Gothic cathedral stands out. After dinner at a restaurant in the city, we will return to the train to enjoy the nightlife shows scheduled on board. The train will remain at the Oviedo station overnight.

After replenishing energy with a complete breakfast, the day will begin touring Gijón , a city with beautiful views of the sea and the ideal place to walk and explore its charming corners. We will have free time in Gijón and after eating in one of its traditional restaurants, we will continue by train to our final destination of the day, in Luarca , near the Galician border. We will visit this town and at night we will have dinner on board. Then we will enjoy a well-deserved rest while the train remains stopped at the station.

In the morning we will begin the march towards Galician lands, while we have a comfortable breakfast on the train. Ribadeo will be the first Galician enclave where we will stop on our route. In this beautiful town there will be time to see its main attractions and try the typical gastronomy dishes. After eating, the train will take us to Viveiro , where we will visit this essential city of A Mariña Lucense . Finally, we will have dinner on board and spend the night in Viveiro.

Our last day aboard the Costa Verde Express Train , we will have breakfast while admiring the splendid landscapes on the way to Ferrol, where we will say goodbye to the crew and depart with our coach to Santiago de Compostela, the Galician capital. We will visit this wonderful city of pilgrims and see the famous Cathedral. Then we will eat at the Parador de los Reyes Católicos , where we will say goodbye to this fantastic 6-day trip through northern Spain (around 4:00 p.m.).
