Zurich offers the right Christmas market for every taste. The Christkindlimarkt in Zurich's main train station is one of the largest indoor Christmas markets in Europe. Zurich's oldest Christmas market is located in Niederdorf in the romantic old town. At Sechseläutenplatz, directly in front of the Opera House, the city's largest Christmas market provides a pre-Christmas Advent atmosphere. Overnight stay in Zurich.
ZURICH - LUCERNE
Take a short train ride from Zurich to Lucerne, the gateway to central Switzerland.
Experience the majesty of Lucerne in winter. The old town will be flooded with twinkling Christmas lights. LUCERN : MT. RIGI
Today go on a journey by boat from Lucerne to Vitznau and by cogwheel train to Rigi Kaltbad , our highlight is the Rigi ‐ the queen of the mountains. From Rigi Kaltbad enjoy a horse‐drawn carriage (or sleigh) ride to Rigi First followed by a Swiss cheese fondue at the Hotel Rigi Kaltbad. Overnight in Lucerne.
LUCERNE – DEPART SWISS BORDER
